The first time you open AURA it asks for your licence key. It looks like this:
AURA-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX
You type it once and the machine is activated.
What happens if the internet drops
Nothing. AURA does not stop broadcasting because it lost the network — that would be unacceptable in a continuity room. The licence is checked against the server from time to time, and with no connection it keeps running on the last valid permission for a generous margin.
Moving to another machine
The licence binds to the machine where it is activated. If you change computer — or reinstall Windows — write to soporte@auraplayout.com and it will be released so you can activate again.
Your key does more than that
The same key gets you into the user community, where questions are asked and improvements proposed. No separate registration, no extra password.
Updates
The first year is included with the licence. From the second year on it is 90 € a year if you want to keep receiving improvements, and it is optional: if you do not renew, your version does not expire or shut down — it keeps broadcasting exactly the same, it simply stops receiving new features.
