A sponsorship is not a loose spot: it is a bumper that accompanies a specific programme. In AURA you declare it once and it takes care of itself.
Linking it
In the programme's metadata (or a live's), under "Sponsored by", choose the bumper. From then on, every time that programme goes to air the bumper comes in before and after, whether automation placed it or you dragged it in by hand.
A whole folder
Folder metadata accepts the same thing, and everything below inherits it. For a format that always carries the same sponsor, you mark it once.
Multi-part programmes
If the programme is split into parts, the bumper comes in before the first and goes out after the last. Never between parts: that is where the break pattern goes.
Why it matters to do it this way
Because it is recorded. Every airing of the bumper notes which programme it ran with, so the question that always comes — "where did my sponsorship run, and alongside what?" — has an answer without reconstructing anything.
